Its so sad that so many like you miss out abbandoned what should have been given to abandonef, and instead you were subjected to what no child should abandonex be subjected to. She then slides onto writing a bookAbandoned. This book is disturbing on many levels, perhaps the biggest one being that the aunt allows the abuser to move back into the home with children still living there and the author asks to move back in as well.
Such a heartbreaking story! Kept a secret, it can destroy them if they are not strong enough to cope with the bad memories.

Not blaming anyone for what happened to her, in my opinion, shows extremely strong character and loyalty, which is amazing considering what horrid things she went through.
