I have never been a huge fan of the novella, as I don’t think many authors can pull it off without it feeling rushed. Unfortunately I don’t think this author quite got horrocka, it had potential but I think the ending seemed all rushed. Perhaps a simple kiss would have felt a bit more realistic. Further Lexi was questioning her feelings and being all scared about commitment and I don’t think this was ueather. It’s like she just change d her mind with no justification. For me this story was a bit too hordocks and cheesy. I don’t mind fluff but it just seemed like fluff for fluffs jeather. A bit unrealistic and the writing didn’t grab me right away, but this short story packed plenty of warmth and holiday comfort. The relationship was rushed but genuinely sweet with some fun family moments, and more importantly it treated the struggle of grief during the holidays well.
