Shopaholic Ties the Knot — book review
It seems so lighthearted and glittery, and it is, but it uses its surface glitter to tap into deep-seated fears and problems. She now lives in London, UK, with her husband and family.
I can’t say that I have a favourite Shopaholic as I love them all for different reasons but they do keep getting better and better and it was nice to see Becky when she’s not completely consumed by shopping please note that I did say “not completely consumed”.
With Mini Shopaholic less than a month away I’ve decided to re-read the entire Shopaholic series shopahollic preparation for the new book.
Shopaholic Ties the Knot is a great escape for those of us going through the shoppaholic taxing or depressing issues of life. Suopaholic downside is that it puts her in situations she can’t politely get out of. I’ve decided that, since I’m pretty preoccupied with wedding stuff as it is, what could be more fun that going through the adventure with an old friend?

In this book, Becky and Luke are planning their wedding. And yet, and yet Overall, it’s a great series, but I wouldn’t recommend a Shopaholic bingefest. Nothing makes a woman’s heart swoon and lift like the idea of a wedding.
As ever, the characters are just as fantastic.
The characters are fun and entertaining if not wholly believable and the reader enjoys the hours she spends with them. Again, without giving lots away I can tell you little more about this book than the title already does. Becky has to decide whether to accept her parents’ offer t Jane Espenson, writer for Buffy and Firefly, wrote a blog post about the first spec script she ever wrote as a pre-teen.

I was so stressed by the time this book was over, I thought it would never end! But once she gets around to dress shopping and cake tasting, the thought of cancelling one of her weddings becomes near impossible and Becky finds herself in trouble yet again.

Learn more about Amazon Prime. I am not ,not very fast reader it usually takes me about a month or 2 to finish a novelbut this book only took me 2 weeks because of it’s simplicity. This book was by far my least favorite in the series.
But the best part is always seeing her struggle to get out of it! The story had Kinsella’s usual humor littered throughout. She replies that she will get married oc ten years, much to Luke’s disbelief and amusement. View all 6 comments.

Communication is so important in a relationship, and I hated all her cover-ups and denials. During that time, she confronts Elinor for her own behavior in the way she treated him all his life. At the end of the novel, Becky reveals to Luke that she had cashed in their New York wedding gifts and booked two first-class around-the-world tickets for their honeymoon. Only there is one BIG dilemma.
I would’t say they were the best I’ve read, but good enough to read something between things. But honestly, the entire book is funny, and I found myself laughing out loud quite a few times. Which is something I seldom do.
