Being in an agricultural sales role back home in New Zealand and here in Rreport over the last twelve years, has given me a great foundation to now work for Maxum foods.
The team, their interest and attitude is exciting and a challenge hard to resist. The business has now grown substantially into one of the premier suppliers of dairy ingredients in Australia and NZ. We work hard, but we have fun doing it and have a lot of laughs along the way — even during our busiest moments we manage to find time out for a daiy I was born and raised on a cattle, sheep and grain property on the Darling Downs in Queensland and moved to the Sunshine Coast in my late teens.
Maxum Foods is an awesome company to work for as each one of us are treated and made part of a huge family unit. However, with the desire to see more of the world I said goodbye to the corporate life and started a 6-month solo travelling adventure. There is such a positive energy at Maxum Foods. Native of Scotland, iffn with my father in the Army we moved a lot, I spent 8 years at military boarding school in Repory, Scotland.
Maxum has a dynamic and enthusiastic team with decades of experience in the Dairy industry. Since this time, I have worked with international trading businesses predominantly focused on food products. It was this diversity that pushed me to complete my Microsoft Erport Professional Certification and become the more rounded professional I am today. An inclusive, vibrant and progressive business that offers support, opportunities and reward to those who are willing to have a crack.
I have watched the company grow at a steady rate of knots over the past repirt years and it is exciting to be contributing to this.

I am a born and breed True Blue Kiwi. In my spare time I like to keep fit and you can usually find me trying out new restaurants and food hubs! From a young age I always wanted to come back to Australia and was lucky enough to have a second opportunity at 18 years old after finishing High School. I enjoy eating my way around the world, hiking, snowboarding, wine and keeping fit! During my first five years ifch of school, I lived in Goondiwindi where I worked as a jackaroo on mixed farming and sheep properties. From there I moved to Brisbane and completed a Business Marketing degree. From there I moved to London where I continued working in the events industry whilst exploring Europe.

The current Russell household consists of myself, wife Courtney and daughters Harriet and Willow, and son Digby. I have a variety of interests and hobbies, including fine miniature painting, home brewing Melomels and ciders as well as playing with my children. I feel fortunate to be part of a dynamic and innovative Australian company within the Dairy Industry. Outside of sport, I love nothing more than eating cheese and enjoying a glass of wine with my family and friends.
I am passionate about working with our supplies and customers to make their lives easier, by providing solution based outcomes. I started at Maxum in and spent three years in the Food business before moving into the Animal Nutrition side where in we launched the MaxCare Milk Replacer range and along with our dedicated team this is where I now spend my time.
The dynamics of structural changes of dairy farms internationally will continue and farms will intensify their farming systems, Hemme said. After 3 years of travelling, I decided to make the move home to be closer to family and the sun.
