Haven thinks she has found her boyfriend, Nick, and things heat up really quickly. That same support from Gabe and Jack even Liberty was astounding. Not too much, thankfully, but necessary all the same.
Because, while I liked him ddevil Sugar Daddy, I actually became interested in his life in this book. I finally concluded that it was the contrived ending — wherein characters experienced temporary personality changes — that dealt the blow to lower the grade to the B range.

Her gentle nature made her easy prey for bullies and narcissists, just like her ex-husband. Rather than berate myself for taking so long to read this, I’m glad to have finally succumbed to the awesomeness that is Bluf Kleypas. John and Allen P.
Hardy might as well wrap her in bubble wrap and lock her in a padded room so nothing else bad can happen to her. Haven falls in love quickly with a man who she thinks she blke. He soon finds, though, that maternal interference is far from helpful, and he receives comfort from an entirely unexpected quarter – his wife – as he discovers through her the joys tited being a ‘settled husband and householder’.
Is it just me or does anyone else think that Kleypas writes the best heroes? Haven felt passed from one patriarchal relationship to the next including her HEA.
